At present, I am working on a high rise (28 storeys), mixed development scheme of residential & commercial space called ‘Merano Residences’, this build comprises of 40 high standard apartments and 3 floors for commercial use.My overall responsibility on this project is as follows;* Overall ownership of the commercial floors to completion.* Management of the brick/ block work package amounting to a tight basement construction for plant/ car parking space & from the main lobby/ commercial areas.* Planning/ management of logistics and waste on a development with a very small footprint & a tight interface with both the network rail viaduct and the public realm on Albert Embankment. * Delivery of temporary electrics in conjunction with the development of the project. This includes elements such as the installation of power supplies for all utilities on site, fire alarm systems, water pumps, temporary lighting, temporary plumbing and the monitoring/ testing of all equipment. * Assisting with the mechanical & electrics package including aspects such as the mechanical infrastructure, public health and electrical fit out.* Finally, I also have an important, ongoing role in ensuring complete compliance with health & safety procedures on site and from planning & management stages. This previously has been more prominent from undertaking an assistant management role for the precast concrete frame works on a project posing various high risk activities due to it's proximity to Network Rail.

At my time at Quinn London I was based on a site at St Columba's school, St Albans. In this time I learnt a lot about the development process of construction through shadowing the site manager and partaking in various assistant management roles.
