Throughout my career, I have constantly adapted to the ever changing construction industry environment by striving to learn & gain maximum experience and knowledge to further enhance my skills as an engineer. From a young age I had a great interest in construction. Since entering the construction industry in 2004, I have completed a full plumbing apprenticeship, 3 degrees and am currently working towards professional chartership.To date my role as an engineer has included working on projects across a wide number of industries. These include some of the following:Healthcare:Having worked on many healthcare projects, I now have an in-depth knowledge of healthcare requirements including all HTM's and HBN's guidance. Some of the projects I have worked on to date include:Minor hospital / healthcare works such as building extensions and room renovations to district hospital heating mains incorporating renewable energy boilers.Commercial:Have designed and overseen all aspects of Mechanical services into both new build and retro-fit buildings including high rise office blocks, 3 star to 5 star hotels and large waste recycling plants. Education:Have worked on numerous school projects ranging from design and supervision of minor works to full mechanical services design implementation and supervision of installation.Domestic:Experience with designing and overseeing small one off housing and social housing projects ensuring all designs meet and are installed to BS standards and building regulations. To date I have learned to successfully work as part of a design team while also being confident to work on my own without direction. I am fully aware that each design undertaken aims to maximise ROI, end user and client satisfaction while keeping within budget allocation. I thoroughly enjoy working within the construction / engineering industry. I look forward to enhancing my skills and knowledge to allow me apply them to future projects.
