In my role on the Governance and Risk team within the Information Security division, my role involves working with business stakeholders and SMEs on the assessment of risks relating to the adoption of, or changes to, information assets or applications. This also involves identifying controls and actions to mitigate any risks. I also act as the operational risk coordinator for the IT directorate, covering all IT related operational risks. This involves working with stakeholders in IT and Organisational Risk (2nd line) as well as reporting to the CIO and senior IT management on a monthly basis.

In my role on the Business Continuity and Resilience team, I led the design and development of a new post-Covid data model for business continuity, including process data capture, storage, analysis and visualisation. This allowed for a data driven view of the organisation and greatly enhanced the capabilities of the team, as well as aiding the IT and Internal Audit functions of the Bank.
I developed a new solution for business impact analyses capture and integration to the new data model, as well as automated business continuity plans based on these.
I led and took part on a number of enhanced resilience assessments for different parts of the Bank.
As part of the Incident Management Team, I took part in critical incident management, including preparation and coordination of critical incident responses and developed critical incident dashboards for trend analysis.

Greater Dublin

I am responsible for the monitoring and reporting of risk on the Bank's investment portfolio.

I am responsible for the assessment of collateral eligibility for use in ECB liquidity operations and the associated reporting of these statistics for management reporting. I am also responsible for the maintenance of the Irish contribution to the eligible assets database, ensuring all assets are reported correctly and taking steps to ensure information is complete. I am also responsible for the in depth analysis of collateral applications for the ECB’s ABS purchase Programme.

Taking part in a number of projects, including defining requirements and testing for the Central Bank’s contribution to the Eurosystem wide projects.

As part of the FMD Quantitative Analysis group, I am currently designing and implementing a data management solution in the R programming language with the Market Analysis Section of the Financial Markets Division.

I am required to work as a part of a wider team, taking active part and contributing in team meetings, while taking ownership of my own work and possessing the initiative to deal with smaller issues in a quick, effective manner on my own.
