Postdoctoral Researcher at University College Dublin. Defended my thesis in September 2023. Interested in Quantum Information and Quantum ComputingAs a Postdoctoral Researcher at University College Dublin, I am exploring the connections between quantum information and quantum thermodynamics. I am passionate about uncovering the fundamental limits of quantum mechanics and finding novel ways to achieve them in realistic settings.I obtained my PhD in Quantum Speed Limits and Thermodynamics from University College Dublin in September 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Steve Campbell. My thesis derived new bounds on quantum state evolution time by taking inspiration from classical thermodynamics, and applied optimal control techniques to reach those bounds in various scenarios. I also simulated large spin systems using Mathematica, and showed how the quantum work distribution can capture evidence of criticality. I presented my research at four major conferences, both in person and online. I have multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, and I am proficient in Python, LaTeX, and Mathematica.
