Having spent 10+ years on the bench, I have a strong background in molecular diagnostics (faster, cheaper, more sensitive, at the point of care). Since 2018, my focus has been on the acquisition of funding to drive research programmes at University of Galway (national and international funding agencies). I am a team player with extensive experience of working on large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects. I am an excellent communicator with proven writing and presentation skills.
