Reporting to the Arc Network Group Financial Controller I am leading the implementation of the Konsolidator system across the group. Konsolidator is a data and reporting cloud-based software that delivers accurate, audit-compliant financial consolidation and subsequent reporting. www.konsolidator.com.This leadership role involves designing the system architecture for the Arc Network, developing timelines for the duration of the project and monitoring progress against these for the implementation team. It also involves coordinating preparation of data from across the group for consolidation, designing processes to get data accurately and timely into the system, and ensuring the consolidated is occurring accurately. A further phase of the project includes developing reports from the Konsolidator data stream and ensuring outputs meet client needs. Engagement with key stakeholders is paramount throughout every phase of the project. Additional project strands include ensuring group I/Co process is fit for purpose, refining month end close procedures and timelines so they meet the needs of the consolidation process, as well as training staff who interact with the consolidation system. Arc Network is a B2B events, data, and media platform, backed by investment funds managed by EagleTree Capital. Founded to redefine business networking, Arc organises over 100 events a year and runs some of the foremost content platforms in agriculture, food, business sustainability, and financial services. Worked for Highfield Financial Enterprises Limited providing consulting services to PBE Group during this period. Collaborated with the PBE Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Financial Controller on specific finance change management projects. PBE Group is a global manufacturer and systems integrator for the provisioning of electronic safety products, data & communication infrastructure and electrical power systems serving the mining, tunnelling, construction and associated industries.

Reported directly to Telegraph Media Group (TMG) CFO on a project to overhaul the company’s financial policy and controls framework. This involved finalising the group’s finance policies, flowcharts and financial controls and preparing them for internal sharing. Led a gap analysis to ensure all key revenue and cost streams were documented and key controls identified. Additionally carried out a review of key controls in place in the financial reporting process and on financial IT systems. Ensured the taxonomy across all policies, flowcharts and controls was clear and consistent and that the output from this project was visible, available and understood by the wider organisation at TMG.
