As Director of Sportsbook Product, I am responsible for the following products: Online (Mobile and Desktop), Retail (SSBTs, Till, Oddswalls), Platform (Bet Placement, Bet Settlement, Cash Out, Bonus Engine) and Trading (Feeds Integration, Algos & Quants, Content Display and Trading Tools).Core responsibilities involve managing a team of 15+ Product Managers, Product Owners, Analysts, UX and UI Designers and the backlog for 30+ development teams across 7 different European locations to ensure the delivery of the best possible Sports product and drive the roadmap that aligned with the company's objectives and Playtech B2B customers’ expectations.Additional responsibilities for this role require heavy involvement in support of the Account Managers for existing B2B relationships, the Sales Team and the overall RFP process. Since PASPA repeal greater attention has been spent focussing on the US regulation and potential opportunities in the US. Achievements: • Within 1 month of joining Playtech there was a merger of 5 Sportsbook platform companies. As part of the "Best Of" project I was required to lead the convergence of technology across sites and building of the new PBS Platform that was launched for the first time in Q1 2018 with ~10 more Sportsbooks in different regulated jurisdictions since then.• Launching of the first Sportsbook led gamification platform called "Level Up" at ICE 2019. This comprises of sports focussed missions, challenges and levels and can reward customers with points, free bets or even spins on other Playtech products.

The role involved managing a team of 10 Product Owners and the backlog for 16 development teams (across Sportsbook, Exchange, Mobile and Desktop) to ensure the delivery of the best possible Sports product and drive the roadmap that aligned with the company's objectives.Achievements: • Initially began as the iOS Product Lead before moving on to be the Product Lead for all of Sportsbook (Mobile and Desktop), then onto the Product Lead for Sportsbook and Exchange Product Delivery (Mobile and Desktop)• Collaborated with many teams (Commercial, Trading, UX, Design, Marketing etc.) in order to develop a world class Sportsbook and Exchange product• Successfully replaced the existing iOS Sportsbook native app with a HTML5 wrapped app on schedule and within budget. Reduced Sportsbook dev team count from 11 to 5 whilst maintaining the previous velocity and creating a consistent mobile customer experience.• Dramatically reduced duplicate development effort by introducing a new strategy for teams to develop shared components that can be built by 1 team and integrated by any team across Sportsbook and Exchange for both Desktop and Mobile.• Implemented a new process to remove UX/Design bottlenecks and migrate the Design team to Scrum to improve delivery and create a more predicable velocity. • Developed a supportive team culture that encouraged collaboration on ideas, sharing lessons learned and supporting other teams to deliver on the greater company objectives.

The role as the sole Mobile Product Manager was to liaise with all stakeholders to define the Mobile Roadmap and ensure the timely delivery of their first Mobile offering. This involved managing the product backlog, working closely with User Experience (UX) to produce prototypes, controlling the flow of work to the development team and addressing/removing all project roadblocks.Achievements: • Successfully launched the first Full Tilt Poker iOS app and Android apps in Q4 2013 that accounted for >50% of new customer acquisitions and actives within 1 month of launch• Introduced of in app purchases (Freemium app model) via both Apple iTunes and Google Play store• Won the IGA Best Poker App 2014

TNF is a Red Herring Top 100 company whose active subscriber intelligence software is used by over 31 Tier 1 Telco's across the world. As a Solutions Engineer and Product manager was engaged with telecom operators to develop products to support targeted mobile marketing and improve the mobile data customer service process.

Telefónica O2 Ireland provided cell phone service, to 1.6 million consumer and business customers across Ireland. The role of the Team Lead for the Prepay Pricing Analyst Team in IBM / Telefónica O2 Ireland involved liaising with the key stakeholders to define business requirements and then to design and build the optimal prepay pricing solution. Heavily involved in the IT outsourcing transition and training of IBM employees.
