When I first began my classical piano journey as a 4-year-old, I was not a very willing student. Fast-forward 25 years and I'm beyond grateful for the world it opened up for me. For nearly 10 years, I journeyed with 15 students to cultivate personal development and confidence through musical skill and professionalism. A life-long learner is the ultimate job title I bring to every role and it was true for this role especially. I collaborated with other teachers and opened up channels for feedback from parents and students to continue exploring new frameworks to enhance the "piano lessons" experience, innovating and iterating upon new methods I learned. Through personalized, one-on-one lessons catering to individual strengths and interests, students achieved their goals—whether it was for personal enjoyment or preparation for recitals, festivals, and exams with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
