As a young and motivated fully registered Early Childhood Teacher, I have been showing great commitment to becoming a children’s advocate to provide quality Early Childhood Education and Care.Throughout my volunteering experiences at church by serving children with special needs, I became an advocate for children’s rights and their early years of learning which will provide children with the foundation of lifelong capacities and citizenships.Thus, I decided to come over to Australia in 2017 to learn the quality provision of Early Childhood Education and Care.Along with my experiences as an Early childhood educator and fully VIT registered teacher, I become flexible and adaptable to engage with a wide range of age groups. Given circumstances allowed me to establish effective teamwork strategies with colleagues and positive communication skills with families in various settings.I take full responsibility for the planning and implementation of all care routines and learning experiences for the individual children and the whole class. Language skills I can speak Korean and Chinese besides English led me to help create an inclusive learning environment to understand children from diverse backgrounds.My volunteer work experiences and Professional Development in managing children with special needs also contributed to my pedagogical practices. Using my musical talent encompassing skills of playing piano and guitar, dancing and singing, I could consolidate my strength into programming for children’s learning, wellbeing and development.I value the relationship first and foremost. My teaching and leadership are built upon trust and respectful relationships with children, families, educators and relevant stakeholders.My associate teachers and employers have commended me for my high level of interpersonal skills and naturally engaging personality. I believe that my motivation, commitment and pre-existing skills will allow me to fit into this team culture.
