Currently, I lead Hanyoung law firm specializing in finance and virtual assets. With extensive experience in financial and legal sectors, my expertise spans across financial investment, M&A, related regulations, electronic financial services, and the insurance sector.I have represented cases for the Financial Services Commission and the Securities and Futures Commission and have worked on dispute resolution at the Financial Supervisory Service. In the insurance field, I have specialized knowledge and experience, serving as a deliberation committee member for fault disputes at the General Insurance Association of Korea.Additionally, I handle investment state dispute resolution cases, including the notable Lone Star and Elliott Mason cases, and have managed major international investment disputes involving the Republic of Korea.In 2018, at the Ministry of Justice, I was responsible for national policies on virtual assets. This role allowed me to gain significant insights into the complexities of virtual asset regulations. Currently, I serve as a listing review committee member for a centralized virtual asset exchange in the country and hold various positions in other national institutions. I contribute my extensive knowledge and expertise to ensure compliance and advise on best practices within this rapidly evolving industry.
