Responsible for managing the Supply Chain for key Rolling Stock Suppliers to meet critical business objectives and to ensure Suppliers meet key project and maintenance deliverables.Develop and manage mitigation strategies for critical and long lead time inventory items and spares, and implementing appropriate material management strategies for items with limited manufacturing opportunities.Provide advice and relevant guidance to stakeholders on materials management during tender and contract development, and assist with contract implementation and contract kick-off meetings.Identify and implement demand management strategies to reduce total cost of supply, and assist with investigations and assessments of alternate / improved products and materials.

Responsible for determining the initial provisioning requirements for new fleet types and ensuring the best sourcing of material & commodities. Implementation and integration of material management processes & requirements within the Jetstar Engineering business for effective operational fleet support. Key inventory optimisation reviews with demonstrated savings greater than US$25m.Managing Budgets (up to US$85m) and Capital Expenditure during major project implementation phases.
