Global Aftermarket Program Manager
CurrentAs part of the Global Aftermarket Operations and New Products Development team, I am responsible for meeting dynamic project deliverables through accelerated project management, within VMS (Vehicle Management Systems) portfolios. I work closely with the wider Operations, Product Management, Marketing & Business Development, Sales, Engineering, Production, Distribution Centre Logistics and Customer Service teams, to realize their deliverables and support evolving global market share & revenue targets.This role requires me to own all necessary project management activities from pre-award throughout customer launch and subsequent change management. Regular customer interaction, flexibility and a creative approach towards problem-solving are the keys to success and continued growth.General Responsibilities:Drive product development and launch programs within the VMS portfolioEnable speed to market approach for tailored VMS product supplyOTP oversight at manufacturing and DCs for VMS portfoliosSupport, develop and enable AFMs rework strategy for VMS productsOverall responsibility for leading and driving cross-functional teamsCreate and deliver project plans and revise as appropriate to meet the frequently changing needs and requirements of the Aftermarket marketplace/customersServe as operational project point of contact for VMS new businessCo-ordinate Aftermarket bill of material development and production readiness activitiesAftermarket configuration, specific to Hub re-pack & distribution, e.g., Distribution Centre Process Flow/Work Instruction/ISO 9000 alignmentResponsibility for the profitability of VMS product introductionsSupport the management of product recovery opportunitiesRealize cost reduction opportunitiesSupport product life cycle change activities and operational efforts for VMS productsSupport immediate/ad-hoc sales opportunities through creative approaches
