I perform duties as First Officer aboard Boeing 737 aircraft.

I led a team of air traffic controllers in the Carrier Air Traffic Control Center (CATCC) in the execution of the daily flight schedule. We provided real-time coordination of tanker, search and rescue, and alert aircraft. Additionally, our team facilitated airspace coordination on behalf of the Carrier Air Wing.

As a NATOPS instructor, I would perform initial and annual flight evaluations for the squadron's P-3 pilot cadre. As the Primary NATOPS Instructor, I was responsible for the enforcement of training and operational standards.

I had the opportunity to lead over 60 Active Duty personnel, contractors, and government civilians in the maintenance and upkeep of uniquely modified NP-3, UV-18, and C-12 aircraft. As the squadron Maintenance Officer, I was responsible for the overall maintenance effort. Additionally, our team successfully completed the 2021 NAVAIR Aviation Maintenance Inspection without any critical discrepancies.

As the UV-18 program lead, I was responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of all projects and programs pertaining to the Navy's new UV-18A Twin Otter research aircraft. My responsibilities included but were not limited to the development of maintenance contracts, flight clearance facilitation, and project detachment planning with Naval Research Laboratory scientists. As the UV-18A training lead, I oversaw instruction and qualification of the UV-18 pilot cadre. Within this role, I had the unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive training syllabus and SOPs, standardizing pilot training and enabling our team to support scientific research detachments to Alaska and other remote locations.

As one of our squadron’s mission commanders and research pilots, I was responsible for the safe and efficient operation of modified P-3 Orion and UV-18 Twin Otter aircraft.

I oversaw our command's personnel, physical, and information security programs.

I led the quality assurance division within maintenance department VXS-1 and VQ-1. Our teams fostered safety-oriented maintenance practices based off of NAMP compliance and led both squadrons through successful Maintenance Program Assessments.

At VQ-1, I successfully qualified as an EP-3 Aries Mission Commander and Instructor Pilot. As a Mission Commander, I led a reconnaissance crew of 24 personnel in the execution of missions supporting national level tasking. As a qualified Instructor Pilot, I trained junior pilots in the aircraft and simulator in normal and emergency procedures, aircraft systems, operational risk management, crew resource management, tactics, and mission requirements. Accrued 385 combat flight hours flying the EP-3 Aries, over 200 of which I was designated Mission Commander.

I trained on multiple aircraft including the T-6B, TC-12B, and P-3C. My flight training syllabus included instrument flight, aerobatics, formation flying, and complex aircraft systems.

I commissioned as a Naval Officer through Officer Candidate School.
