Research Assistant - Underwater Acoustic Communications

My role in the project was developing embedded Linux drivers to provide support for the custom hardware platform. I was also responsible for designing and debugging circuit boards for testing and de-risking activities. Additionally I was responsible for fully evaluating a digital filtering chip for suitability in the next revision of an existing project. I was also responsible for optimizing embedded software using a combination of compiler optimization techniques and inline assembly coding.
