I'm typically fully invested in my job function and the projects that I'm exposed to. Having come from the commercial sector of consulting engineering, I am acutely aware of the immensely important positions that budgets and schedules hold. Its important for me as a project manager that my clients come away from a project happy - not just satisfied, but smiling. A successful project for me includes the all-consuming cost and time considerations, but it also includes my client having had beneficial AND enjoyable interactions with myself and the project team. Not only does this approach lend itself to non-adversarial working relationships, but it also garners a certain level of camaraderie among the project team members. This general attitude, fosters the "we, as a team, will work toward a successful project"​ approach rather than the burdensome, and oftentimes detrimental, "every man for himself"​ approach. Visit jobsites for field coordination. Communicate with field personnel for design and procurement needs. Initiate and continue contact with vendors to select and order equipment. Track project needs for labor, equipment, material, etc. in order to generate POs and contracts. Participate in project meetings with owner to track status and address project needs. Generate scope packages for both bid and construction.
