Ephraim Barrera is an incoming Articling Student at Emerge Law, where he will be working in corporate law and civil litigation. He is also a Master of Law (LLM) candidate at the University of Ottawa researching technology law and public law.During his JD at the University of Ottawa, Ephraim served as an Assistant Editor with the Ottawa Law Review, a writing leader at the Common Law Faculty's Legal Writing Academy, and a research assistant for the Centre for Law, Technology and Society. Prior to law school, Ephraim completed a bachelor’s degree in public ethics and a Master of Arts in Philosophy. Ephraim’s graduate research focused on policy, ethics, and emerging technologies. During his studies, he published an academic book review and research paper on the intersection between virtue ethics and technology ethics.
