Responsibilities include meeting with all Business Units to gather requirements and define scope, setting up project plans through documentation and Microsoft Project, creating communication plans which include both detailed weekly summaries and quick to read Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the management team, acquire and manage resources, risk and issue analysis, quality control, budget and change control, and ensure all deadlines are met. Responsible for managing stakeholder expectations. Create and manage team collaboration site using Microsoft SharePoint. Coordinate hardware equipment and software for staff at multiple sites throughout the city for major sporting events. Manage both development and support staff which includes both internal staff and contractors.Currently in the planning phase on the development of a new intranet for the organization to replace the current outdated version. Working with outside SharePoint consulting firm and internal Brand Management team to design look, feel, and functionality of the site. In the process of gathering requirements from the other Business Units for both content as well as for their individual team pages. Also in the process of developing deliverable schedule for phase 1 of the project. Manage the development of online race applications. Gather requirements from all Business Units within the organization. Organize documentation for developers, set schedules, setup quality assurance through systems and performance testing, and lead project through all phases of the software development life cycle using agile project management methodologies.Assist in project portfolio management for IT department. Manage intake of project requests, assist in the decision making process of which projects get done and which get deferred, and which projects go to the steering committee. Manage projects throughout the project
