My team included four purchasers, two project managers, an inventory and store supervisor and several unionized operating positions. Managing several significant crises. Each time this occurred we found alternative sources of supply. Consolidating all the logistics for the business including transportation, taking charge of he warehouses and international brokering. Annual savings of $500 K. Reducing the aluminum sheet inventory by 3 million while maintaining a production availability of 96%. Improving the accuracy of our inventory to 95% based on a 98% goal. Under the direction of the CEO, my role was to provide clients with complete solutions for the fabrication or refurbishment of 350 to 750 megawatt electrical generators. I was responsible for producing submissions and evaluating the required amount of time based on plans, the amount of work required, suppliers and the availability of assets and materials. Following contract agreements between 1.2 and 1.8 million dollars, I was tasked with ensuring the accomplishment of simultaneous projects and supply chain management in accordance with the deadlines for putting the dams back into service. My teams included a dozen project managers, engineers, planners, purchasers and suppliers. Our suppliers were from abroad and the profitability of each project was my responsibility. Managing complex technical projects with large financial stakes. Improving project management by creating flexible semi-autonomous teams that are adapted to the needs of the marketplace. During my time at Delstar, I improved profit margins by 17% by offering prices and solutions that were directly in line with the needs and realities of the marketplace. We reduced the inventory for raw materials by 92% by going through JIT. Which was more in line with our matrix structure for project management. 98% OTD for suppliers.
