Completed clinical practicum in the adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit under a licensed PMH NP. Conducted psychiatric evaluations, contributed to treatment plans, and provided therapeutic interventions for adolescents with various mental health disorders. Engaged in team meetings, family therapy sessions, and medication management rounds. Gained experience in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques for adolescent populations. Conducted initial psychiatric evaluations, performed follow-up assessments, and collaborated on treatment planning for diverse patient populations. Developed skills in psychopharmacology management and various psychotherapeutic techniques. Participated in telepsychiatry sessions, enhancing competence in virtual care delivery. Under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist, I worked with an underserved population in an out-patient behavioral health clinic (Southbridge) and on an in-patient co-occurring disorders unit (CDU in Webster/Southbridge). Completed full initial psychiatric evaluations, resulting in the development of initial DSM5 psychiatric diagnosis and treatment plan proposals. Provided evidence-based research that supports treatment decisions. Completed necessary clinical documentation. Served as an RN in a trauma-informed care residence and school for girls ages 12-22 years who have a history of trauma and/or mental illness. As part of an interprofessional team and using the ARC framework (Attachment, Regulation, and Competencies), I developed and implemented medical/nursing goals and objectives to meet the health needs of 28 individuals. Using the Attachment, Regulation, and Competencies framework (ARC), I cared for 28 students and helped them to develop healthy relationships, appropriate coping mechanisms, adaptive life skills, and good health habits. As Aras ISO, I built up the cybersecurity program using the three core pillars of GRC, Operations, and Partnerships. The GRC - Governance Risk and Compliance - pillar comprised of a strategic framework, policies, risk and management, data, asset and access management, network architecture, metrics, auditing, and regulations. The Operations component included tools, vulnerability management, incident management, application security, business continuity, and disaster recovery. The Partnerships pillar created and strengthened vendor relationships as well as with internal and external business groups. Partnerships also included awareness and training, staff development, and phishing campaigns.

At the highest level, I established an information security program, supported by a written information security program (WISP) and foundational policies for information protection, acceptable use, and related technology procedures. My first initiative was to review the risk assessment and then create an cybersecurity incident response team, a plan and procedures and then ran tabletop exercises. Vulnerability and patching were a primary focus as well as application and device security. Additionally, I conducted physical security audits of Emerson practices and worked to help better secure hundreds of Emerson's physicians and practitioners. Partnered with the Privacy and Compliance Officers to create an information security awareness program. Created and implemented an awareness and communications strategy, which included branding, and training. Communications, with guidance on how to best secure systems.

Alegeus Technologies, LLC is the leading provider of a healthcare funding platform (payment and benefit account solutions for TPAs, banks, and health plans ). Alegeus allows consumers easy and immediate access to their funds via electronic administration (SaaS). As the Information Security Officer (ISO) I was responsible for safeguarding $10 billion USD in annual transactions spread for 30 million consumer lives. As ISO I led the company to achieve PCI 3.1 and SSAE16 SOC1 compliance and certification. Working as a Governance, Risk and Compliance team, we matured tools, policies, processes, awareness, and collaborated closely with IT on infrastructure and security initiatives. Pioneered a team to research, design and implement improvements to Fidelity’s retail electronic channels (e.g. fidelity.com, streetscape, etc.) in order to increase customer satisfaction. Collaborated with users at all levels to define needs and design custom technology solutions for a better trading experience. Recruited, trained, mentored, and supervised cross-functional IT staffs. Additionally managed business continuity.

Helped establish firm’s first internet operations center for all electronic channels and supporting 10 major sites on 3 continents. Supervised rapid resource assignment and allocation procedures to quickly restore e-channel services during major outages. Performed incident root cause and post mortem analysis. Developed and delivered effective communications, providing concise status updates to executive management, promoting productive incident reviews, and advancing incident response practices.

Technically managed a team of fifteen individuals who were first-tier support for Fidelity’s retail electronic channels, primarily fidelity.com and F.O.X.+ (windows-based trading application). Provided training. Participated in development of disaster recovery procedures, minimizing downtime while ensuring data integrity. Note: Spent six months on-loan to the Quality Assurance (QA) group and assessed and created the tax lot and trader test plans and worked with developers to ready the program for go-live.

Implemented process to assist customers leaving a company to roll a 401K or 403B over into an IRA – created by new legislation under President Clinton. Helped create a team with processes to take advantage of this new business opportunity.
