Neurophysiologist
Current- Obtain, review, and document patient’s medical history through a pre-operative interview. Conduct neurological exams to evaluate any present neurological deficits prior to the beginning of the surgery.
- Engage with surgeon and anesthesiologist to establish the best monitoring plan based on the neural structures most at risk for the procedure. Continuously communicate with surgeons and OR staff throughout the surgery.
- Monitor the functional integrity of the brain, brainstem, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves during surgical procedures, both in the operating room and interventional radiology suite, including but not limited to.
- Perform software and hardware troubleshooting techniques to ensure proper data collection.
- Maintain compliance to all hospital credentialing platforms such as SEC3URE (IntelliCentrics), Symplr, Vendormate and Green Security.
- Professionally certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM), issued by ABRET
