I have worked at Richman Elementary School for 8 years, and I was transferred this year (9) to Ladera Vista Jr. High. I currently have my Multiple Subjects Credential and have worked as a summer school teacher at Richman in 2008. I currently work as a Special Ed. Inst. Asst. while I am looking for a full-time teaching position in an elementary school.

Primary responsibility is to instruct 4/5/6/ grade students Language Arts, emphasizing in Reading Comprehension and fluency. Develop lesson plans for the entire summer school session for 5 periods of whole class instruction. Instructional Assistant B/B (3 yrs.): Primary responsibility is to teach writing to a 4/5/6 combo class (Fast Track), utilizing the Step-Up to Writing program, 4th grade Math, 6th grade Social Studies and Science and ELD. Develop lesson plans on and give small or whole class instruction. Also assisting the teacher of record with the development of Accelerated Math program in the classroom, etc. Instructional Assistant/Sp.Ed (8 yrs.): Primary responsibilities include giving support to the teacher of record, aid special ed. and SDC students in their work, tutor, teach and encourage students with limited abilities. Responsibilities included but were not limited to working in the mailroom, bulk mailing, mail sorting and service to faculty, staff and students of the campus. Copy Center: Using copiers to complete jobs for the faculty, staff and students.
