• Disaster Assistance Employee / Public Assistance Coordinator (PAC) -
• Lead grant-writing teams in direct response to federally declared disasters and conduct preliminary damage assessments (PDAs) of governmental infrastructure affected by disaster events.

• Provided analysis and collection of hydrographic and geological data services relating to beach shoreline erosion and re-nourishment, wetlands protection to ensure protection of water resources involved with Federal.
• Conducted water/soil sampling and data analysis related to environmental petroleum contamination at Port Everglades, FL. Performed research, wrote detailed technical reports and created graphic design pieces.
• Established and managed quality-control for data collection, analysis and contracting procedures.
• Provide project design and contractual recommendations, serving as a technical team leader/member.

• Managed contract operations, customer service and capital project bid procedures for 15 Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) advanced municipal water-wastewater treatment and distribution systems.
• Addressed application and compliance with Consumptive Use and Discharge permits, analyzed statistics, researched and assessed water consumption, customer rates and costs associated with water treatment capacity.
• Performed community outreach programs and participated in intergovernmental task-forces to define and correct water quality problems that significantly affect environmental and/or public health.
• Conducted Federally mandated Vulnerability Assessments on all FGUA potable water facilities and provided detailed corrective actions and capital improvement budget recommendations to address public safety concerns.
• Managed multiple time-sensitive contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and interagency agreements while developing and leading organizational conferences/meetings, conduct trainings, and perform long and short-range.

• Served as Assistant City Manager, Marathon FL and Interim Town Manager, Golden Beach FL.
• Oversaw all operations of 5.0 Million gallons-per-day Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities; compiled data and completed Monthly Operating Reports. Responsible for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction.
• Research issues & recommended programs to City Council to make informed policy decisions relating to environmental preservation and regulatory compliance, emergency services, staffing, budgeting, insurance, growth.
• Partnered with the Department of Community Affairs (DCA), the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) to obtain $91 Million DEP State Revolving Loan Funds for.
• Represented local government in collective bargaining sessions with labor unions.
