Software Developer, Interaction Designer, System Administrator and Technical Consultant working on HRM software.At Kennys B.V. (renamed to Kenmerc Business Solutions B.V. after the acquisition by Vinci Energies in 2023) I was hired as an Interaction Designer and Front-End Developer. I was tasked with designing and building a web interface for their HRM software, which was running on a Windows client at the time. During my tenure I was responsible for maintaining and improving said interface, as well as designing and implementing new features.Over the years my role in the company has continued to evolve and has grown to include the following:- Designing and improving the web based user interface and implementing these designs in the software (HTML, CSS, Javascript & jQuery)- Implementing integration of the interface with the back-end and database (Progress OpenEdge)- Installing and updating the software, initially on location and later in our hosted SaaS environments (Windows Server, IIS, Progress OpenEdge, Apache Tomcat)- Providing technical and customer support- Maintaining, installing and distributing software licenses- Maintaining our in house network, laptops and software
