I'm a Nutrition Honors student in the Gillings School of Public Health and a Philosophy Honors Student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My career interests lie in policy and advocacy work for the Black and LGBTQ+ communities, with a focus on the intersections of racial and gender equity and public health. I believe there is a egregious gap between the scientific community and socially aware domestic and international policy. My growing skill set focuses on closing this gap with new methods of scientific communication and experience serving underrepresented communities.
