I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) in Bangalore, India. I hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, specializing in stage-discharge modeling of meandering compound channels with a focus on differential roughness. My research, conducted under the guidance of Dr. Kishanjit Kumar Khatua, has significantly contributed to the understanding of complex flow dynamics in natural water channels.With a strong academic background that includes an M.Tech. from NIT Rourkela and a B.Tech. from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, I have developed expertise in my field. My research interests span water quality management, hydraulic modeling, and construction technology, reflecting my diverse skill set and commitment to addressing critical engineering challenges.As an Assistant Professor, I mentor students, conduct research, and teach subjects such as AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and ANSYS-Fluent. I am dedicated to education and regularly participate in faculty development programs and workshops focused on enhancing online course development and user interface/experience design.Throughout my professional journey, I have gained practical skills through various training programs, internships, and short courses. My contributions to journal editorial boards, reputable publications, and active participation in conferences and workshops further highlight my commitment to advancing the field of Civil Engineering and staying current with industry developments.
