*Ultratech had a problem. Their strategy team had identified a new product for the Indian markets in the Water-Proofing category. Automating the packaging process for this new product was a challenge, especially for filling due to its physical characteristics and dynamics of its exposure to the atmosphere. FSP came to the rescue and I personally headed this R&D project at FSP. Our Director, Mr. Gandhi was extremely supportive of it, with all major resources dedicated to the project.**We dived deep into the resources provided by the company and studied the product’s characteristics. We observed its behavior when exposed to the atmosphere and took multiple trials using a wide array of filling technologies. Our efforts concluded that a Gear-Pump was the best option to push the product out of the filling nozzle in a controlled manner. We successfully supplied and commissioned a Servo Controlled Gear-Pump-based Filling Machine for their Water-Proofing Chemical. Servo’s repeat accuracy and production rates are unparalleled.**Today we have over 14 Automated Packaging Lines commissioned and running 24*7 with Ultratech for the same product, across the country.
