Scope/Responsibilities● Lead Engineer in Prime Video X-Ray backend, responsible for defining long term tech strategy, and guiding the team on design, execution, delivery and operational excellence. Designed and delivered a microservice architecture platform to:o Ingest and aggregate sports event updates from multiple sources in real time.o Publish dynamic updates, synchronized with video stream, to 6 million concurrent sessions.o Publish video clips for on-demand replay experience, within 2 minutes of the event taking place on field, along with in-depth stats related to the highlight moment.o Automatically start/stop data ingestion and publishing flow as per the live game schedule.● Conceptualized and delivered contingency levers to handle missing/incorrect data during the course of live games.● Spearheaded Live Sports Data Simulator project to enable testing of new features and enhancements without depending on a real live sports event.● Strategized integration with Alexa for voice-controlled X-Ray experience.● Championed continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines for all our services.

As part of Electronic Trading Strategic team, my role is focused on building Low Latency Electronic Trading systems which involves design and development of -- Market data feed handlers to get real time data from exchanges and publish it for internal use.- Connectivity components to communicate with external electronic trading venues.- Algorithms to calculate prices of products in real time as per market trend and manual input from traders.- Trading algorithms that execute trades on behalf on traders in the most profitable way.- Systems to automatically quote on client inquiries with suitable price.- Integration of all aforementioned individual components to build the whole end-to-end infrastructure for enabling traders to run business on electronic trading venues.- Tools for automated monitoring to catch any anomalies in the prices we publish on exchanges and trades booked in our systems.
