After the success of my role last year, we are scaling this job under the Technology Modernization umbrella by formally calling it Engineer As a Service (EaaS). I am now involved with teams for the specific implementation of various tech modernization initiatives which allows teams to modernize their tech stack and follow reusable architecture patterns for faster E2E software deliveries.Here at MS, there is nothing that seems impossible, another year another set of added responsibilities. I am able to learn a lot and work with awesome people. This upgraded role now allows me to work on DevOps and SRE practices with local and global teams.I am enhancing the frameworks and tools we built which are now being utilized by teams across the firm which drives me to work even harder and improve the quality of the deliveries we make.Being part of a Transformation network at MS which facilitates immense opportunities for learning and cascading DevOps practices to fellow folks is also something that acts as a driver for me about giving back to the community

With my growing experience at the firm, I discovered there were certain challenges that went unnoticed. As we are marching transforming to Agile, the goal is to bring in efficiency, and its where my mind throttles. To improve productivity I developed some reusable utilities to help in the company's agile journey, like email embeddable cucumber report, devops tooling, a worklog dashboard using bitbucket API. These tools are now being widely used by teams for reducing effort and structured reporting
