The structure consists of timber and steel framed construction on a conventional concrete raft slab. Plenty Valley Community Health - South Morang Super Clinic:This "cork-screw" shaped two storey building is located adjacent to South Morang train station and Westfield shopping centre. Suspended ground slab on bored piles, composite steel/concrete first floor structure, and timber framed roof.Dianella Health - Hume GP Super Clinic:A two storey concrete building and steel framed roof structure.Mitchell Health - Wallan GP Super Clinic:A two storey health centre with pharmacy constructed on a highly reactive clay site. This structure consists of a concrete ground slab, composite steel/concrete first floor, and steel framed roof. Timber feature fins surround the full perimeter of the building facade. The column free entry foyer includes a column free steel feature stair.Kathleen Syme Centre Library - Carlton:Extensive redevelopment of this existing heritage listed building into a community library. The southern extension comprises a timber and steel framed structure, whilst the internal alterations included large openings through the original solid masonry walls and replacement of ground floor structure.Albury Wodonga Health - Regional Cancer Centre & PET Building:This large development comprises several levels of IPU (in-patient-unit) rooms as well as three radiation bunkers. The building is designed for a future 2-level vertical extension, as well as an additional radiation bunker at ground level. All suspended floors comprise a Bubbledeck (voided) slab system.

The state of the art multipurpose building is a long span gymnasium structure consisting of large steel portal frame construction. Kardinia Health - GP Super Clinic:This relatively large single storey GP super clinic has an unsual geometrical shape in plan with four main “wings”. The structure is a steel frame with cantilevered canopies, supported by a conventional concrete raft slab. Deakin University Regional Community Health Hub:This spectacular project in Waurn Ponds consists of two five storey buildings joined by link ways within a full height enclosed atrium. The office building is a composite steel/concrete structure with three large transfer trusses supporting the floor levels over the lecture theatre. The building is inclined towards the north and also includes an impressive external stair which cantilevers out. The laboratory building is a concrete structure consisting of long span post tensioned slabs and band beams. It also includes external steel framed walkways which cantilever off the building. Digital Harbour Plant Extension:This concrete framed extension to an existing building in Docklands has been designed to contain critical plant equipment for the federal telecommunications network. Minifie Park Child Care Centre:This relatively large single storey building is currently the largest green roof building in Australia. The building is a conventional steel framed structure supported by a concrete slab in a highly reactive soil with abnormal moisture conditions.

Role includes the structural design/documentation and construction supervision of medium to large sized building projects. Also involved in engineering investigation and reporting of residential buildings undergoing structural distress:Belconnen Arts & Cultural Centre:A stunning new art gallery precinct in Canberra against Lake Ginninderra. The steel framed stricture has a continuous curved roof line. The concrete raft slab is founded within engineered compacted fill material reclaimed over the lake. Melbourne University Boat Club:This three storey extension to the existing heritage listed boat club adjacent the Yarra River. The steel and timber framed structure is supported by an engineered raft slab founded within engineered compacted fill material. The design also included a movable boat storage racking system suspended from the first floor frame. Barwon Health - Teaching, Training & Research Facility:This four storey concrete framed building in Geelong also consists of a basement carpark, lecture theatre, underground water tank and link bridge to an existing building. The concrete structure is conventional: reinforced and post tensioned floor structure, steel framed roof, in-situ columns and precast wall panels.Sunshine Hospital - Radiotherapy Services Building:A single level concrete framed structure with four large above ground radiation bunkers. The building has been designed to support an additional four levels in the future. The perimeter of the building consisted of steel framed roofs and cantilevered canopies as well as a main entry foyer with a stunning curved wall.

Role included the structural and civil design/documentation of small to medium sized high end residential and commercial building projects. Also involved in engineering investigation and reporting of residential buildings undergoing structural distress:Office of Housing (DHS) Building Movement Rectification Program: Investigation and reporting of houses suffering from building movement distress. Providing practical recommendations, including rectification works where necessary, aimed at minimising ongoing building movement. Preparation of relevant certified design documentation of the proposed rectification works necessary for building permit approval. Acting as the superintendants’ representative during the tender/construction phases of the projects. Macro Foods (Richmond & Armadale Stores - Melbourne): Preparation of certified design structural design drawings for redevelopment of existing buildings comprising extensive structural alterations. Structural modifications included removal of masonry walls supporting concrete slabs and masonry walls over, penetrations through existing floors, and upgrading of existing structural steel frames. Construction phase engineering support included site meetings, site inspections and reports, and review of steel shop drawings. Contour House (Drysdale - Victoria): The project involved the structural design, documentation and construction support for a high quality architecturally designed residence. The house comprised of a central in-situ concrete core wall, surrounded by timber and steel structural framing. This project won the ACSEV Residential Design Award in 2006 for its innovative structural design using the combination of concrete, steel and timber structural framing systems.
