With over 10 years of experience in research design and program evaluation, Dr. Elizabeth Ramirez has worked with numerous private and public sector organizations to design, assess, and evaluate education and community-based programs in both urban, suburban, and rural areas across the East Coast. Dr. Ramirez obtained her PhD from Clemson University where her passion for research and education lead to the development of numerous community-based projects that resulted in improvement of health outcomes, more equitable distribution of healthful foods and resources to low-income and minority-based communities, increased health awareness, and increased cooking and nutrition self-efficacy, among other things. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Ramirez has become more involved with assessment and evaluation of education and nutrition-based programs, obtaining numerous grants and for continued development, improvement, and increased efficacy of each program.Dr. Ramirez is especially trained in mixed-methods research. Her experience with SAS and SPSS provide the foundation of her research, identifying significant relationships between and within the variables of interest.
