During my army service, I served as Captain in the special unit of the Paratroopers Corp. After five years of service in the army; I decided to study Law & Government at Reichman University (Formerly known as IDC Herzliya).Throughout my studies, I had the privilege to work with some of Israel's most influential legal figures, including Professor Aharon Barak and Professor Amnon Rubinstein. Upon graduation, I obtained a prestigious position as a Legal Clerk at the Israeli Supreme Court. Shortly after my clerkship, I flew to New York to complete my M.A. in Law at Columbia Law School (for which I was awarded a full scholarship).In the years following my graduation from Columbia University, I have worked for the Israeli government. In the period from 2011 to 2013, I served as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Education, followed by two years as Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Interior, and now I have been appointed Director-General of the Ministry of Justice.In my role as Director-General of the Ministry of Justice, I serve as a member of the Committee for the Formulation of a Basic Bill: Legislation. The legislation is a proposal to enact a Basic Law that would clarify the Knesset's authority to enact laws, determine the legislative processes, define the superiority of the Basic Laws over ordinary laws, and establish the court's authority to repeal a law that contradicts a provision in the Basic Law.I believe in justice, in finding solutions, and in people.My career has provided me with the opportunity to learn from great sages and build trust-based and professional relationships through the management and motivation of people. I believe we live in a world that revolves around innovation, technology, and data.
