My main fields of expertise: litigation of intellectual property rights (patents, plant breeders' rights, copyright, trade secrets, trademarks and designs), unjust enrichment and competition law as well as complex litigations, particularly those involving issues of technology. I have vast experience appearing before Israeli courts at all levels and before the Patents, Designs, and Trademarks Registrar. I am well-versed in the fields of Intellectual Property; High Technology; Competition Law; Agency and Distributorships; Regulatory Law; Pharmaceutical Law; Litigation.I am an adjunct professor at Haifa University and Tel Aviv University, where I teach and lecture on Patents Law and patent litigation. I also lecture on the field of intellectual property in Israeli academic institutions and other forums.I represented the Israeli Bar association at a special forum of professional members of the Patents industry established by the Israeli Patents Office and I am also involved in the recent amendments of the Patents law and the the Pharmacists Ordinance in the Israeli Parliament.In the recent case of Genentech Inc., I was lead counsel before the ILPO arguing that periodic reviews of its internal administrative guidelines must be be made to determine their adequacy and/or necessity, resulting in lifting the ILPO ruling that previously banned on secondary divisional applications in Israel. As a result of this landmark case, not only was the secondary divisional of our client was allowed to be filed and examined, innovators are again able to seek protection they specifically desire for their inventions, disclosed to the public in Israel.
