About Erandhi De Silva

Throughout my education, I have thrived in a multicultural environment, which has allowed me to gain a unique understanding of the interactions between people and their idiosyncratic perspectives. These have shaped me as I continue to grow & learn from the people and the environment I find myself in.I aspire to harness the knowledge that I have acquired through my degrees, together with the invaluable experience afforded by my placement as an honorary assistant psychologist in an Early Intervention in Psychosis service, my subsequent role as a mental health support worker in a CAMHS crisis team and now a trainee psychological wellbeing practitioner in IAPT, to offer my full support and understanding to people struggling with their mental health. My ambition draws me towards my goal of someday becoming a qualified psychologist, whether it be in the form of a clinical or counseling psychologist or cognitive behavioral therapist. In the meantime, my focus is on enhancing my clinical skills and building up my experience by working with various populations presenting with different mental health conditions to ensure that I'm the best clinician I can possibly be and prepare myself for what lies ahead of my pofessional journey.
