• Designed and implemented the development process. Allows 50+ engineers across 3 disciplines to iterate quickly, collaborate and keep upstream in tact (Jenkins, Python, git)
• Built and led the platform team for the first two years. Architected and lead development of distributed, stateless, containerized micro services. Grew team to 15 engineers and handed it over. Very early adopters of.
• Designed and implemented a high performance, all userspace inter process communication layer - lockless queues, bespoke memory allocators, zero copy. Alleviated a crippling bottleneck and allowed for easy development.
• Co-architected and wrote Nuclio (github.com/nuclio/nuclio) - a successful, high performance, Kubernetes native, open source serverless framework. Takes a user function written in several languages, builds a Docker.
• Drove the tectonic shift towards using Kubernetes as the orchestrator for customer facing services. Wrote operators and processes on top of which the R&D moved its entire operation (Go, Kubernetes)
• Led design and implementation of converting a 3 page, bare metal only installation process to a self serve, UI driven installer capable of deploying on AWS, Azure, VMs and bare metal (VueJS, Go, AWS, Azure, Ansible)

• Full stack web application development based on Node, Angular, Mongo and their ilk
• Backend scalability projects (migrating to Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Docker, Graphite, statsd, collectd)

• Designed, implemented and deployed a system spanning custom hardware, embedded software, Android/iOS and cloud development. Wrote most of the embedded (C/ARM) and cloud (Python/AWS) code for the first year and a half
• Recruited and lead the 12 strong R&D team, but grew slowly and under budget at the expense of sleep
• The first to successfully deploy consumer SIM virtualization - allowing smartphones to use SIMs located in a datacenter far away ("SIM in the cloud")
• Cloud side: Highly available, scalable architecture in Python (using Django, Twisted) over AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, Route53, automation using fabric and boto). NodeJS/AngularJS/MongoDB for side projects
• Embedded side: C for ARM Cortex-M, asynchronous, object-oriented decoupled architecture over a feature rich RTOS (but could also run over Linux for testing)
• QA side: Pushed for fully automated testing using Selenium, TestRail, Monkeyrunner and custom Python scripts

• VP R&D of a funded startup. Implemented, from scratch and as a one man team, a very feature rich preemptive microkernel, networking stack and infrastructures for ARM based microcontrollers
• Implemented a bespoke ERP system in Force.com for a client, saving client 100K USD
• Built a 350 Mbps, 0% drop, userspace packet processing infrastructure in Linux capable of simulating a 3G link between the NodeB and RNC. Ran on an off the shelf PC and was tightly tailored to the multicore architecture

• Startup which attempted to make a wireless mesh network based on the early WiMAX specification• Wrote scheduling simulators to try out different algorithms in C++ and much of the management software for the prototypes
