As Director of Stewardship & Community Engagement with People's Housing+, a non-profit affordable home developer in New Orleans, LA, I provide post-purchase support to homeowners and residents in the communities we serve by offering workshops and seminars on various homeownership topics and affordable housing issues in general. I also serve as a liaison between homeowners and necessary resources, addressing issues such as home maintenance, property taxes, homeowners insurance, foreclosure prevention, succession planning and more. This position also involves cultivating external relationships with other non profits that address the affordable housing issue, as well as foundations, funders, banks, governmental agencies, etc. Prior to this, I worked as a Medical Respite Program Manager for the homeless at Volunteers of America, where I managed the recovery process for hospitalized homeless residents. I have also had experience in managing a transitional living facility and working in the fine art industry. With my background in real estate and dedication to serving others, I provide exceptional real estate services to clients. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of New Orleans.
