Design and build distributed applications for NCH's global sales force.

I developed the data harvesting technology that integrated with over 700 car dealerships systems every day.

My responsibilities include manager of the software engineering team, sales engineer, marketing manager, human resources manager and as well as software engineer. I was hired to do whatever it takes to make the company successful and that is what I have done.My software development skills were used in creating the Home Composer Windows Forms application. Home Composer is used by the Home Automation installer to design how the electronics in the home will communicate with the Home Conductor server. Features include drag and drop diagramming of devices to represent the wiring relationships as well as a custom timeline based macro/orchestration designer interface. A Model/View/Controller architecture was implemented to allow for scalable development of the application. Home Composer has reporting features that HTML reports generated from a web application and displayed in Home Composer through a COM Internet Explorer component.

In October of 2003 The Mind Electric was acquired by webMethods and I became an employee of webMethods. I still worked on the Glue and Fabric management console. In February of 2003 I started to work on the new UDDI product’s management console. This console uses the Jakarta Struts framework and is entirely html based.Before my team moved to Struts I personally evaluated the Macromedia Flex framework for webMethods. I was apart of the beta testing program for Macromedia before version 1.0 of Flex was release. During that time I had conversations with Christophe Coenraets, Macromedia’s Flex technical evangelist about the product and how it would work for webMethods. In the end it was determined that the product was too cost prohibitive for webMethods as a OEM solution for their web application products.
