I am currently a Senior Engineer at CVI in the Research & Development Department working on Microfluidics and Medical Devices for point-of-care molecular diagnostics.I have earned my PhD from the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. My dissertation was focused on designing and evaluating engineering systems for the developmental monitoring of microphysiological models.My long term goals are to develop novel solutions to cancer and human disease research using nanotechnology. I am particularly interested in microfluidic device development for diagnostics and drug discovery, development, and delivery.
