Hello,Welcome to my profile!!My name is Ercílio Chauque I’m a marine conservationist, a nature lover.I have been working in the thematic areas of marine ecosystems, small-scale fisheries, wetlands and water resources, as well as community development in Mozambique. I am currently leading the development of the Fauna & Flora marine strategy in Mozambique.My professional journey equipped me with 2 fundamental qualities: 1. Resilience – I had to withstand and recover quickly from difficulties that ended up fuelling my desire to be a better professional, a better person and above all to be focused to my goals. 2. Leadership – I want to bring more people with me to help me to materialise the vision I have for our marine environment (Mozambique and the WIO Region). This is about igniting enthusiasm and forging trust. I want to impact so that the people that comes with me feels the difference and embrace with enthusiasm the fight for our oceans. During my adventure as project manager with a proven track record of working in community-based conservation, I have worked with non-profit organizations, Government entities and multilateral partners.
