Purchasing Management, Global Sourcing, Lead Buyer

- To assure required conditions for the procurement of direct materials (different metal production materials,stamping parts, stainless steel bands, molds for metal and plastic parts, resistance wire, stainless steel wire, raw materials, connecting elements, packaging materials, foundry mat.,etc.) from local and international market.- Closely cooperating with R&D and quality departments to create and implement ratio and potentials,(design to cost reduction process, following sampling process etc…).- Following the tooling process in suppliers and preparing the tooling contracts.- Making projects / developing methods in order to decrease Total Cost of Ownership, according the E.G.O. KPI’s (Localization, alternative / global sourcing, etc…) and compliance principles.- Preparing the purchasing budget according price forecasts, controlling budget, reporting periodically for material groups.- Allocating the material groups to relevant suppliers regarding the Purchasing Contracts to create savings.- Market search of procurement for existing / new materials from fairs, new suppliers etc.. for global sourcing and find optimum suppliers considering; price, quality, logistics and technology.- Tracking market prices and surcharges continuously and keep prices updated in SAP.- To carry out the purchasing process in collaboration with E.G.O. International Purchasing Organization in order to provide supply safety.- To negotiate the contract terms with suppliers and create / update price and supplier master data (regarding the contracts) in SAP.- To monitor and report purchasing activities (especially KPI, directly manager and E.G.O Germany) from local and international suppliers which are executed by planning departments in accordance with global contracts.- To audit suppliers, solving quality problems with R&D and quality departments to increase supplier figures.- To contribute execution of SAP and ISO 9001-14001 systems in purchasing department and E.G.O.Turkey.
