There are two mainprograms for this change: ING’s Customer Golden Rules and Net Promoter Score.Marketing is the driving force behind this change. * Distribution channel marketing: Marketing needs to understand the needs and motivation of bank and broker channels and design products & services accordingly. In order to do this transformation, the marketing department is expanded from 3 employees to 8. Together with the above mentioned structural change, the department started to take role in the strategic planning of the company. Marketing was taking the lead in defining the 5 year strategic plan of the company. Additionally, tactical marketing plans derived from the strategic studies are prepared and being executed in the leadership of marketing. Marketing now also works on feasibility of new projects that will create new distribution models.
