About Erdem Sarıca, M.Sc.

I work as a Senior Aerodynamic Design and Test Engineer in my current position. I am experienced in CFD analysis, Thermal Simulations and Structural Analysis. I’m also responsible of the PIV laboratory (experimental aerodynamics laboratory). At PIV; I’m working on experimental aerodynamics and aeroacoustics characteristics of products and components. I completed my master's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Thermodynamics and Energy field at Dokuz Eylül University. I worked as a Senior Mechanical Design engineer in my previous position. During this time, I worked and gained experience in all processes from sheet metal and plastic part designs to molds and mass production. Thanks to my achievements in mechanical design, I started creating 3D CAD designs suitable for CFD simulations and experimental/theoretical studies of the PIV aerodynamic design team. Accordingly, I started my career in CAE and Aerodynamics team. I am fluent in English. During my college years, I used my English to translate subtitles for some online platforms. I can communicate well with foreigners who speak different languages. Thus, I have represented the company and products I worked with at abroad events such as trade fairs/exhibitions/conferences etc. Over the course of my career, I've gained experience and expertise in 3D CAD design, PLM and ERP softwares, prototyping and manufacturing, DQA design validation testing (drop test, stack test, compression tests, etc.), acoustics and sound systems, thermal and heat transfer analysis, and structural analysis. Therefore, I mastered the general engineering processes of a corporate factory. I enjoy following developments in the constantly evolving world of technology. I like thinking about innovations that can take humanity forward.
