These summits were dedicated to Göran Kropp, whom I lost while rock climbing together. Göran was known for his 1996 bicycle journey from Stockholm to Nepal, towing his own climbing gear, and eventually summiting Everest that year.I climbed McKinley (Denali) in North America in 2003, roundtrip from Seattle, Göran style towing my climbing gear by bicycle. I climbed Kosciuszko in Australia and Kilimanjaro in Africa during my Circumnavigation by Human Power. Aconcagua, Elbrus and Everest remain. While rowing on the Pacific Ocean, I documented a Larus Atricilla (Laughing Gull) 3000 nm offshore, well outside of its range.My human powered journeys are used to create educational content and presentation materials for schools and professional audiences. I have held in person presentations or teleconferences by satellite phone. We collaborate with the educational partners of Around-n-Over to enhance the educational value of my journeys.
