I am responsible of 16 plants which are located at Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, UAE, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Tanzania, Oman and India about following subjects;To take part in commissioning projects of newly established or with increased production capacity plants, complete production line preparations, to start production, to ensure line stabilization,To monitor and interpret monthly and daily process, production and quality data,Determining the process targets of the plants, to establish a project group in plants that are below their monthly targets, to perform root cause analysis, to find a solution and to standardize the solutions found on the production line,Determining raw material and process costs for new products,To produce products that have good quality according to Voice of Customer.To get plant energy consumption data, calculate specific equipment energy consumptions, create KPI and KPDs, set plant target, report and publish monthly energy data summary.To implement and disseminate the best practices published in Knauf Global to region plants,To organise, conduct and report raw material, process and equipment trials on the production line,To take an active role in cost reduction and productivity increase studies, to enter these studies into the Knauf system and to follow and report the activities of the region plants.During investment planning period, creating and evaluating the process-related technical investment items of the plants, following the current year’s settlement data from investment system,To follow-up current budgets of mechanical and electrical maintenance departments, determining budget for the following year.

I took part in the Knauf Ahiboz wallplaster and plasterboard plant, working under the Quality Manager on the following issues;Taking samples from incoming raw materials, semi-products and final products in accordance with the sampling plan, ensuring that tests are carried out within the scope of EN and Knauf standards in the laboratory, interpreting and reporting the results, informing the negative results to factory management and seeking solutions,Performing and interpreting the analysis and applications of competitor products, preparing and publishing reports.Managing laboratory and production line trials in new product studies.Conducting the necessary analysis in line with customer feedbacks, sharing the results and taking part in improvement activities.To ensure the necessary coordination in internal and external audits to be carried out in the plant within the scope of integrated management systems (ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018),To calibrate and verify laboratory equipment and instruments,To realize the Kaizen and 5S targets given to the Quality Department,To ensure the organization of the laboratory and equipment, to sustain of the conditions suitable for 5S.
