Aksu Group Consulting is a small international consultancy firm that helps organizations launch VR/AR experiences and campaigns and learn about how to position themselves in the face of these disruptive technologies. • Oculus VR For Good Creators Lab Program ​- Selected from hundreds of aspiring filmmakers by Facebook/Oculus to participate in their inaugural 2016 Oculus VR For Good Creators Lab Program. Facebook provided a budget to conceptualize, produce, and create a 360 film and social impact VR campaign in collaboration with the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative to document prison systems in India. The film ​"One Eighty" was selected to premiere at the ​SXSW International Film Festival and is now touring the world at different film festivals.• Conceptualized, managed and successfully launched a virtual reality experience and campaign showcasing the future of healthcare technologies for the University of Virginia Healthcare System, my alma mater.

Emblematic is one of the world's foremost producers of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality with a team of award-winning filmmakers, journalists, designers, and veteran game developers.I was hired as the second FTE to build Emblematic from a four-person startup at the USC Interactive Media Research Labs to an industry-leading 20-person content and software powerhouse. I contributed to hiring, managing teams, building production and sales pipelines from scratch, creating project costing and management structures, and managing large scale VR/AR Initiatives. I also represented Emblematic as a paid speaker on industry techniques and the future of Mixed Realities in over 100 cities and 30 countries. Conference and festival appearances have included NAB, SXSW, Sundance Film Festival, Digility, MiSK Global Forum, and Global Philanthropy Forum. Project Highlights:• Project Manager for a large scale AI-based VR simulation tool for corporate client to train police on de-escalation techniques. This VR experience is now being tested by the client for potential roll-out across US police departments. • Technical Project Manager for a large scale data visualization application for the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Innovation team for the Google Daydream, Google Tango and Apple ARKit platforms.• Technical Project Manager for VR art piece for critically-acclaimed artist Lin Yilin and NBA superstar Jeremy Lin. The piece is currently set to display at the Guggenheim Museum of Art in NYC. • Negotiated project, managed the strategic partnership, and ran post-production relationship for a large scale VR experience on tennis legend and humanitarian Arthur Ashe. Partners included CRSVR Labs, Legend 3D, American Tennis Association and US Open. Set to launch at 2018 US Open.

I co-founded UDesign and helped create an AR application that let users simulate furniture and interior design products in 3D augmented reality in real time. I was in charge of Sales and Business Development, Product Management and Customer Development.
