Definition of the Project: The project that has been awarded to Gulermak-Nurol-Makyol Joint Venture involves the construction of a 13 km long double tube TBM tunnel along with 2 train storage tunnels and a connection tunnel. There are 11 stations within the scope of the project, 5 of which being shaft+tunnel type.Internship Objectives: • To be familiar with the procedures used at various stages of construction of a civil engineering structures such as double line metro, underground metro stations, design, civil & structural works and metro depot construction. • To present the site observations through verbal, written, and graphical means.• To help in the project's planning and budgeting phases.• To assist with the framework and instruction drawings based on the structural plan.• To help with purchases, delivery, and inventory tracking to assist coordinate the material needed for the projects.• To create the records needed to track the progress of ongoing initiatives.
