I was born in Marmaris, one of the most popular holiday resorts in Turkey, in 1981. After having lived there for eight years , we moved to Didim, ancient Didyma, the hometown of my parents. During my life time I always lived in the touristical places interacting with foreign visitors from different cultures, so it was not a big surprise for me to become professional tour guide.I completed my primary and secondary school education in Didim and attented foreign language department at Soke High School where I learned English. For university education, I just followed my dreams and completed Balıkesir University tourist guiding department between the years of 2000- 2004 where I learned all about my uncompared country’s archeaology, art history, mythology, ancient civilizations, history of the religions etc. with an outstanding non-stop tour covering all around Turkey in 42 days. During the period of my education, summer holidays were so important for me to learn more and more about guiding, that’s why I worked for travel agencies and attended tours in Turkey led by experienced tour guides teaching me the less-known details in guiding. In 2004 my professional career started. Since then I have been working as a freelance tour guide and led so many tours organised by different travel companies. Cultural tours, shore excursions for cruisers, photo safaris, blue cruises etc are some of the tour types that I do.Recent years the number of the visitors coming to Turkey from Latinamerica and Spain has increased so I thought that it would be great to learn Spanish, one of the most spoken languages in the world. For that reason I lived in Spain for a while to learn this beautiful language. Now I carry on my profession in two languages.
