I was DRI for the primary map creation tool at Apple and led a group of engineering teams responsible for the creation of underlying map data.

Mapsense was a mapping company that analyzed massive geospatial data for customers in tech, finance, advertising, and environmental protection. We raised money from General Catalyst and other tier one VCs. We were acquired after 3 years by Apple in 2015.

Before leaving the program to work at startups, I was a PhD student at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University. I spent my time studying optimization and probability theory and was TA for a data science class.

I worked with Palantir's customers in banking and finance, with applications on analysis of large mortgage portfolios and credit derivatives.

I interned on the options trading team, and wrote a research paper using Monte Carlo simulation to study various early option exercise policies.
