• Responsible for integrating and linking product subsystems to create a complete suit. Includingresponsibility of product infrastructure, networking, system installation, configuration andperformance, while meeting strict production delivery commitments and tight clients’ schedule.• The job demanded a broad knowledge of infrastructures and networking, Linux & Solaris basedapplication (Veritas cluster), storage based on Netapp San & Nas technologies, Oracle and MS SQLdatabase.• Developed system tools. One of the major projects I developed was a fully automated installationversion mostly using Perl and Bash shell scripting.

• I led a department of 3 teams of 5-7 system admins each (25 soldiers in total).Each team was responsible for a different production IT segment. The whole department wasresponsible for giving 24/7 multi-tier IT system support and in charge of a large scale productionenvironment (entire intelligence community information production systems).• Planning, Implementing and managing a large scale production systems.• Led project of DRP which included complex tasks, coordination and collaboration.• Managing a complex production environment demanded wide knowledge of system architectures:hardware, infrastructure, security, networking, operating system and virtualization, storage,database and software application.

• Managing a team of 5-7 system admins.• Led a large scale P2V project, converting production cross-platform servers from physicalhardware to a virtual infrastructure (Vmware ESX3.5).• Responsible for all professional trainings and courses in the department.

• Responsible for all production system support. Including system management, configuration,maintenance, backup & restore, monitoring and system log and documentation.• Applying operating system updates, patches and configuration changes.
