Post Graduate Mechanical Engineer with Industry Experience always looking for simple-but effective-ways to solve practical problems. As a MECHANICAL ENGINEER at SOLUTION NET SYSTEMS, I have had the privilege of working alongside veteran engineers to design conveying, sorting, and scanning equipment. This allows me to INNOVATE, to IMPROVE equipment, and to INCREASE my understanding conveying systems. In one year, I went from adjusting sensors on a 3-D model, to traveling internationally, supporting installation teams working on equipment I designed.My experiences at THE FLEXICON CORPORATION as an ENGINEERING INTERN gave me insight to the ENGINEERING DESIGN PROCESS. I started in steel-toed boots and blue jeans in Flexicon's Test Lab. My college experience with Autodesk Inventor convinced the Engineering Department to have me begin UPDATING old product models to accelerate production time. In future internships, I used the models as building blocks for complex systems in customer quotes.I graduated from Lehigh University with a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering in December 2016. RESEARCH at LEHIGH UNIVERSITY's Tribology Laboratory involved investigating the wear behavior of metal surfaces in the presence of specific lubricants. I designed and built a DEVICE to improve the laboratory's testing equipment.I graduated from Lafayette College with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 2015. I have completed more than 45 coursework hours in topics including Engineering Design, Instrumentation and Data Acquisition, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Controls. I have some experience in the use of NUMERICAL METHODS, CAD SOFTWARE, ANSYS STRESS ANALYSIS, and PLC PROGRAMMING.I became interested in Mechanical Engineering after gaining experience in the processes of design, manufacture, and effective management during my EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT, involving the construction and installation of twenty-four bird nesting boxes.
