Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, I-18-4420: Phase III Interchange of I-294 and I-57:As an inspector on four different construction contracts, my main responsibilities include documenting quantities and ensuring that all construction work adheres to IDOT and Tollway standards. I focus primarily on overseeing the construction of concrete superstructures, such as bridge decks, approach slabs, parapets, moment slabs, and rebar installation. I am also involved in using GPS equipment to ensure accurate measurements. Apart from inspecting, I also played a role in closing out the project process to help the CM team meet the project deadlines.

I was responsible for collecting data on-site for various types of surveys, such as Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and Alta Surveys, as well as for construction staking. I operated GPS, total station, and data collector. I also worked with a crew of two people. My duties included handwriting sketches and transferring collected files between data collectors and internal company project folders. I worked extensively with TSC3 Trimble data collector equipment.
